AgriBio, Center of AgroBioscience is a partnership of the Government of the State of Victoria (Australia) and La Trobe University near Melbourne. This public-private partnership with a value of approximately 288 million AUD has developed a technology platform aimed at unraveling the complete genome in a wide range of organisms with the aim of modifying them via gene editing, or determining and selecting genetic variation via diagnostic methods (markers, sensors, phenotypic instruments). This platform has been presented to all major European seed companies through presentations and discussions with the key researchers of these companies.
