An SME in plant breeding wanted to know more about the possibilities of marker-based breeding. Together with an external collaboration partner, Innova Connect organized a strategy session in which the possibilities and limitations of selection based on molecular markers were explained. Based on this session, the company started a project that zoomed in on the technical and economic feasibility of molecular markers in the crop concerned.
